Ukrainian manufacturer with over 125 years of history

From origins to the present day

2025

The situation in Ukraine required adaptation and the development of new solutions. BFBE ARDENZ launched production of modern emergency MBUs to rapidly provide heat supply to critical infrastructure.

2024

Production was relocated to the facilities of PJSC “STRILA”, increasing overall production capacity and scale.

2022

BFBE ARDENZ, together with POWMET and ARCA WORKSHOP, formed the industrial group ARCA GROUP.

2011

A breakthrough year: modernization of equipment and production technologies. The company invested in advanced high-tech equipment from TRUMPF (Germany). Product quality reached a new level.

3D design, modern machinery, and rapid prototyping technologies were implemented, improving production efficiency.

2009

Change of ownership and management marked the beginning of a new stage of company development.

1994

Завод було перейменовано на ВАТ «Броварський завод комунального обладнання».

1977

From 1977 to 1994, the plant produced up to 60 items of municipal equipment: cast iron grates for treatment plants (for the pre-treatment system of water), fish barriers, aerators, tables, benches, cooling towers, parts for “Volodymyr” tractors, containers. Separately, we can distinguish the production of household gas boilers (KSG) and boilers on weak fuel. Later, the production of solid fuel boilers (KSB - steel solid fuel boiler) began.

1976

At the request of local residents and with the consent of the Ministry of Housing and Utilities, a decision was made to close the cast iron foundry, and the production of water pipes was decided to be transferred to the Lviv Plant of Communal Equipment. The direction of production is changing. Anatoly Grigorovich Lempitsky was appointed director of the plant.

1975

The plant became part of the Kyiv Experimental Production Association of the Main Directorate "Ukrkomunmash" of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Ukrainian SSR.

1965

The Brovary Foundry and Rolling Plant was renamed the Brovary Plant of Non-Standard Municipal Equipment, and in 1970 – the Brovary Experimental Plant of Non-Standard Municipal Equipment.

1955

In January, the Brovary Regional Foundry and Rolling Plant of the Ministry of Local Industry of the Ukrainian SSR was established, which produced cast iron roofing sheets and castings, cast iron water pipes, cast iron carpets (gas hatches), and grates for boilers. Foundry and finishing iron were received at the plant in railway cars, then remelted in the cast iron foundry and used for their intended purpose.

1924

The troubled, dangerous, turbulent years of revolutions and the establishment of Soviet power changed the way of life of the inhabitants of Brovary and suspended production processes. And only in 1924 the plant was rebuilt and put into operation again. In 1926, after nationalization, the iron foundry was transferred to the cooperative system.

1900

The roots of the history go back to the distant 1900s, when a burgher named Yerusalimsky built a cast iron foundry, renting land from O. Ponomarenko. Thus, one of the first industrial enterprises appeared in Brovary, which gave local residents new prospects, opportunities, and jobs. At that time, the plant mainly produced cast iron sewer manholes, bed frames, and other cast iron products.
